7yr old Cali  found himself at the Manhattan ACC after being surrendered by his owner who said she didn’t have enough time to care for him properly and said he should be with a family who could give him the love & attention he deserved. 

 Cali was promptly seen by the vet and then was able to be groomed & with the assistance of the medical team was sedated for part of the groom so that his matted hair could be shaved off safely. He was immediately adopted! Total time from arriving at the shelter, getting a medical exam, partially sedated grooming & getting adopted was a record 4hrs & 20mins!!
